Sarah Putnicki
Biography
Sarah Putnicki is a 21 year old Artist and Austin College student. Born and raised in Texas, Sarah has always been drawn to many different art forms and creative outlets. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she taught herself how to oil paint and since, has moved art and creating closer to the forefront of her life, something little her would have 100% hoped for.
Artist Statement
Sarah is an expressionist whose art predominantly revolves around contemporary portraits of women. Rather than display a narrative, she aims to evoke emotions revolving anxiety, loneliness, and discomfort in her pieces all while juxtaposing it with feminine beauty.
